Dr Onifade graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State - Nigeria and completed the West African Board Specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the year 2000. He then proceeded to the UK as a World Health Organisation’s (WHO) scholar at the University of London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he obtained a post graduate Diploma and Masters of Science Degree in Reproductive Health Research.
He later embarked on a post-graduate specialization in London, United Kingdom, during which he variously trained in prestigious institution in the UK, including Oxford Deanery, Guys and St Thomas London, Kings College London and St Georges’ University London. He was awarded the CCT in 2011.
He was the deputy College Tutor/Lead Consultant for undergraduate in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Luton and Dunstable University Trust. He was also appointed preceptor for senior trainees completing the ATSM in Urogynecology at the Eastern Deanery, England, UK. He joined Sidra Medicine in 2017 and relocated to Al Wakra Hospital in 2018.
